David Lalonde was a major crimes detective for 30 years. It was his calling.

He is an avid reader and holds a Master's Degree in Heritage and Social History. David has a fascination with detectives, reporters and criminals from the Victorian era. He believes that their insights provide us with an unfiltered "backstage pass" to how people really lived and interacted then.

He works now as a college professor.

David is married to a wonderful, supportive woman and has an equally wonderful daughter, and two energetic grandsons.
